I just happened to fly into a roid field in a named 0.4 system when I saw a cruiser (MOA) hunting and a lil Velator sitting about 14 km distant from me, the MOA was about 90 km away so it wasn't a problem. I was in a lil Amarr missile boat with some extra armor, just in case - you know how tough them Velators can be sometimes - lol. I targeted the Velator and fired 4 heavy missiles as fast as possible - there was some server lag. The Velator went pop without moving and the pilot warped his pod away. I would have tried to pop the Velator's pod except I didn't really want to take that big of a dip in my sec rating (I like living in empire space for now) and the MOA was moving in and was 40 km away when the Velator's pod returned. I am pretty sure this Velator pilot didn't "get" what was happening to him since it did take 4 heavy missiles to make his lil ship go "pop" but I mean really... if you're in low-sec space (0.4 or lower) and you're just sitting right next to someone who obviously has a low sec rating (mine was -0.1 but is now -0.4) and you are targeted and in a noob ship and you get hit with a missile - you can prolly expect more missiles to hit you soon and your lil ship might go "pop"... I was hoping to be able to do this when it happened so I am happy I got to have some more "fun" and really this noob pilot didn't lose any money cuz Velators are FREE.

Man, I love this game !

prime example of the "Pirate" persona and what it has become. This person attacked an vastly poor and inferior target with no reason other than blood lust and self empowerment through external gratification (Ouch big words make my head hurt)

This fine blue ribbon wining prize piggy didn't get one isk for his actions, in fact he/she lost isk for the sad little missiles he used and lost sec rating...this is piracy in EVE now, and a sad time it has become.

This is the type of pirate that will inevitably ruin piracy in general for all in EVE.

Obviously I'm not a pirate but some people have to get their jollies that way, other wise they would quit (sweet) but these kind of attacks are sad. Lame-ass and sad.

Sad, sad, sad, sad, sad...no reason, no isk, no nothing, just Ultima Online point and click...this doesn't add to RPG and I'd like to note that this thread is an admission of griefing as the player that died was shot down merely because 101011blah wanted to cause him angst...that guy might not even of had a clone being that he was in a noob ship.

Could one of the mods forward his post to a GMs so that they can investigate and ban his sad ass please? This guy is ruining the RP experience of EVE.
